Terms of Service

These terms cover booking and receiving treatments at Salt & Bloom. Booking an appointment means you accept them. They are written plainly on purpose — the cancellation terms in particular are ones we will hold you to, and you should not have to hunt for them.
Who You Are Booking With
Treatments are provided by Salt & Bloom LLC, a Florida limited liability company, at 12357 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL 33161.
Yeslie Valdes is a Licensed Massage Therapist (MA 92896, Florida Department of Health) and a Licensed Facial Specialist (FB9774253, Florida Board of Cosmetology). Salt & Bloom carries professional and general liability insurance.
We practise inside My Long Life Acupuncture, a separate and independently licensed practice. Acupuncture, Chinese herbs and capillary therapy are theirs, are booked directly with them on (305) 891-2888, and are not covered by these terms. If you are already a patient of theirs, your massage is booked through them rather than through us.
Booking
Appointments are arranged by phone, text or email. We confirm every appointment before it is held. A time is not yours until we have confirmed it.
We share treatment rooms with a working acupuncture practice, so our availability moves. If the time you want is not free we will offer you the closest one that is.
Cancellation, Rescheduling And No-Shows
Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice and there is no charge.
Cancel on the day of your appointment, or fail to arrive without notice, and 50% of the total booked service is charged.
Reschedule with at least 4 hours' notice — by call, text or email — and your appointment moves to another date at no additional charge.
This applies to every service we provide, without exception. The room was held for you and could not be offered to anyone else, which is the whole of the reasoning.
Arriving
Your treatment begins at the time it was booked for, not at the time you arrive. Late arrivals are still received and still treated — the time simply comes out of the treatment rather than being added to the end of it, because the room is booked behind you, and the full price still applies.
More than thirty minutes late and we may need to reschedule you, so that the rest of the day stays unhurried for everyone in it.
We ask you to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early. From October 2026 that time is the complimentary foot soak — warm water, Dead Sea and Epsom salts, coconut milk and raw honey, with rose petals, chamomile and lavender — which takes ten to fifteen minutes. Until then the early arrival is for settling in, changing, and finishing anything outstanding on your intake.
Intake, Consent And Waivers
Before any treatment, every guest must complete an intake form and health history, and sign the consents and waivers that apply to the services booked. All of it must be completed and on file before a treatment begins. There are no exceptions to this and no treatment will proceed without it.
The intake is not a formality. Several of the treatments on our menu are unsafe for some conditions, and we cannot know that from looking at you. Tell us about pregnancy, a pacemaker, epilepsy, metal implants, recent surgery, active infection, retinoid or acid use, Accutane, allergies, and anything a physician has told you to be careful about.
If the intake reveals something that makes a booked treatment unsafe, we will adapt it, substitute it, or reschedule rather than proceed. Withholding information does not transfer that risk to us.
What These Treatments Are, And Are Not
Massage, facial and body treatments at Salt & Bloom are for relaxation, comfort and the condition of skin and soft tissue. They are not medical treatment, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a physician. Nothing we do treats or cures disease.
Nothing said here or in person should be taken as medical advice. If something concerns you about your health, see a doctor — and keep doing whatever a doctor has already told you to do. We will not ask you to stop.
Treatment is by consent and consent can be withdrawn. Say stop and we stop, at any point, for any reason, without explanation and without awkwardness.
Conduct
Our services are strictly non-sexual. Any suggestion otherwise ends the appointment immediately, is charged in full, and is refused thereafter.
We may decline or end a treatment where proceeding would be unsafe, where a guest is intoxicated, or where a guest is abusive to the practitioner. Salt & Bloom is a small room and there is no version of this where that is tolerated.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Prices on this site are current and may change; the price quoted when you book is the price you pay for that appointment.
Package and series rates are paid in advance. A deposit of $250 reserves a treatment package. The deposit is non-refundable, but it is fully transferable — to another service, another date, or to someone you would like to give it to.
Packages are valid for six months from the date of purchase. We will help you space your visits at the first appointment so the time is used rather than lost.
Events and freelance bookings are quoted individually and require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold the date.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are redeemable for services and are not exchangeable for cash. They remain valid in line with Florida law on gift certificates, and the cancellation terms above apply to appointments booked with them.
Personal Belongings
Please leave valuables at home. We are not responsible for personal property brought onto the premises.
Liability
You accept that bodywork and skin treatment carry ordinary and inherent risks — temporary soreness, redness, bruising, cupping marks, and reactions to products — and that disclosing your health history accurately is what allows us to manage them.
To the fullest extent Florida law allows, our liability arising from a treatment is limited to the amount you paid for that treatment. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

The Salt & Bloom name, wordmark, written content and photographs are ours or used with permission, and may not be reproduced without written consent.
We keep this site accurate, but a price, a duration or a description may be out of date at any given moment. Nothing here is a binding offer until we confirm your appointment.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs to the state or federal courts sitting in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
